The battery-powered IP66 wireless data logger/DTU supports RS485/Analog/GPIO sensors and has built-in Bluetooth and APP service for OTA configuration and remote device management.

Long range and replaceable battery power
With LoRaWAN® wireless transmission, S2100 supports built-in 19Ah battery and external 12V DC power supply, with ultra-long range of 2 km in urban areas and 10 km in line-of-sight.
Designed for harsh environments
Operating temperature from -40℃ to 85℃ and IP66 housing, suitable for outdoor use, exposure to intense UV rays, heavy rain, dust and other adverse conditions.
Remote configuration and management
The SenseCraft app and SenseCraft Data platform allow users to manage data and configure devices remotely.

The sensors can operate in harsh outdoor conditions. To ensure that the performance and durability of the sensors are consistent with their specifications over their entire lifecycle, the SenseCAP S210X passed 6 pre-release reliability tests, meeting the requirements to operate perfectly under extreme conditions.

The SenseCAP S2100 Data Logger/DTU can connect to MODBUS-RTU RS485, Analog and GPIO sensors and transmit sensor data to the LoRaWAN network. With LoRa technology and IP66 design, this device offers stability and reliability, covering long transmission distances with ultra-low power consumption, making it ideal for outdoor use. It is specifically optimized for OTA updates thanks to its built-in Bluetooth, which enables quick setup and updating. It can be powered by battery or connected to an external 12V power supply. When 12V power is connected, the built-in replaceable battery is used as backup power. In addition, with the help of the S2110 converter, the S2100 Data Logger/DTU can connect to Grove sensors, making it an ideal solution for development, rapid prototyping, and small, do-it-yourself industrial-level LoRaWAN sensor implementations.The S2100 LoRaWAN Data Logger/DTU S2100 supports MODBUS-RTU RS485, Analog and GPIO inputs and transmits sensor data to the network
It can cover a transmission range of 2 km in urban settings and 10 km in line-of-sight while maintaining low power consumption during the transmission process. It features a replaceable battery with a life of up to 10 years and an IP66 industrial housing. It supports operating temperatures from -40℃ to 85℃ and can be used in harsh environments.
LoRaWAN Frequency
S210x devices are designed to support the universal frequency plane from 863 MHz to 928 MHz in a single SKU. It can also be changed at any time to use other frequency plans.
Power options
Option 1: The data logger/DTU can operate in periodic mode. Powered by a standard 19Ah D-type Li-SOCl2 battery, readily available online, it can be installed and used outdoors without additional power supply.
Option 2: The data logger/DTU can operate in continuous power mode with an external 12V DC power supply. We provide a matching Junction Box kit, which allows rapido assembly of the data logger/DTU.
Support for industrial sensors with different interfaces
The LoRaWAN S2100 Data Logger/DTU is a single-channel collector and supports only one protocol at a time from the following:
- RS485: Supports the standard RS485 Modbus-RTU protocol
- Analog: 2 x 0~10V or 2 x 4~20mA
- GPIO: 1 x GPIO, to collect level or pulse signals

LoRaWAN® gateways can provide the LoRaWAN® network coverage needed to use these sensors. S210X devices can be connected to different LoRaWAN® gateways, and those provided by Seeed offer a seamless user experience.
Helium Network: The sensors operate in areas covered by the Helium network (check on Helium Explorer). You can check out the SenseCAP M1 LoRaWAN Indoor Gateway and the SenseCAP M2 Light Hotspot with software license on Seeed Studio.
LoRaWAN Network: Sensors run on LoRaWAN® networks, such as The Things Network, Loriot, Chirpstack, etc. You can check out the SenseCAP Gateway - LoRaWAN EU915 and the SenseCAP Multi-Platform LoRaWAN Indoor Gateway SX1302-US915 on Seeed Studio.
