Guarantee of high performance

Sensors can operate in harsh outdoor conditions. To ensure that the performance and durability of the sensors meet their specifications throughout their lifecycle, the SenseCAP S210X series underwent 6 reliability tests before commercialization, passing all requirements to operate flawlessly even in extreme conditions.
High and low temperature testing - verification of sensor performance under adverse thermal conditions.
Compliance testing - checking the consistency of values collected from multiple devices.
Waterproof test - verification of water resistance to ensure IP protection.
Freezing test - evaluation of operation in extremely low temperature environments.
Long distance communication testing - verification of transmission stability and absence of packet loss over long distances.
Research and production testing (R&D and manufacturing) - checking the success rate of devices under factory conditions.
Hardware Overview.
The SenseCAP S2105 sensor measures soil moisture (0-100% m³/m³), temperature (-40~80℃), and soil electrical conductivity (EC) (0-23 dS/m). Soil electrical conductivity is an indicator of salt content, which affects crop yield and quality, plant nutrient availability, and soil microorganism activity. This sensor is therefore broadly applicable to soil monitoring scenarios. It is optimized for OTA due to its built-in Bluetooth, which enables configuration and updating rapido. With LoRa technology and IP66 design, the sensor provides stability and reliability, covering long transmission distances with low power consumption. Unlike wired devices, the sensor is battery-powered, reducing labor and complexity during installation. It can be disassembled and installed in minutes, making deployment quick and easy.

It can cover a transmission range of up to 2 km in urban environments and up to 10 km in line-of-sight conditions, maintaining low power consumption during the transmission process. It features a replaceable battery with a life of up to 10 years and an industrial IP66-rated enclosure. It supports an operating temperature range of -40 to +85℃, making it ideal for installation in harsh environments or subject to extreme weather conditions.

Applications
Agricultural irrigation, greenhouses, garden crops, drought monitoring, turf and lawn management.

SenseCAP S210X is compatible with LoRaWAN® V1.0.3 protocol and can work with Gateway - LoRaWAN Device - SenseCAP.

LoRaWAN® gateways can provide the LoRaWAN® network coverage needed to operate these sensors. The S210X can be connected to several LoRaWAN® gateways, and those provided by Seeed offer a complete and seamless user experience.
Helium network: sensors operate in areas covered by the Helium network (verifiable on Helium Explorer). You can check the SenseCAP M1 LoRaWAN Indoor Gateway - US915 - Seeed Studio and the SenseCAP M2 Light Hotspot and Software License - Seeed Studio.
LoRaWAN network: sensors also work on LoRaWAN® networks such as The Things Network, Loriot, Chirpstack, etc. You can refer to the SenseCAP Gateway - LoRaWAN EU915 - Seeed Studio and the SenseCAP Multi-Platform LoRaWAN Indoor Gateway SX1302 - US915 - Seeed Studio.
We recommend using SenseCAP M2 Multi-Platform LoRaWAN Gateway, a standard LoRaWAN® gateway that supports connection to multiple network servers. With its affordable price of $99, it is an extremely affordable solution, especially for those who wish to build a private LoRaWAN network.
