4G Data Logger - Seeed Studio

Sensor Hub is an easy-to-install industrial 4G cellular station that uses MODBUS-RTU RS485 protocol to communicate with sensors and can simultaneously collect data from different types of sensors. IP66-certified, dust and water resistant, the Sensor Hub 4G Data Logger is suitable for reliable and long-term outdoor applications, such as smart agriculture, smart weather stations and smart city.

The SenseCAP Sensor Hub is a powerful 4G data logger capable of connecting up to a maximum of 32 RS-485 sensors. Designed to industry standards, rugged and stable, IP66 certified, waterproof and dustproof, it is especially suitable for long-term remote environmental monitoring in outdoor applications.

DC only version: This version can work with a solar system. Please note that it must be connected to the whole solar system, not just a solar panel.

Version with built-in rechargeable battery: This version can be powered by either DC or solar panel (available soon).

The Sensor Hub Data Logger is an easy-to-install 4G cellular station. It uses the MODBUS-RTU RS485 protocol to communicate with sensors and can collect multiple data from sensors simultaneously.

The Sensor Hub has 4 RS485 data channels. With expansion hub or RS485 splitter, it can connect up to a maximum of 32 sensors simultaneously. The collected data is sent to the cloud (either to the SenseCAP server or the customer's private server) via 4G/3G/2G.

Designed to industry standards and with IP66 certification, the Sensor Hub is suitable for outdoor and harsh environments, resistant to UV rays, rain, dust and more. The device integrates GNSS for position tracking.

The Sensor Hub is also equipped with 10 MB of internal memory, capable of storing more than 700,000 measurements locally in case of unstable connection.

For the DC-only version, in case of power failure, the Sensor Hub will not be able to save data. It is recommended to consider the version with built-in battery if the application may experience power outage. With the built-in battery, the device can continue to operate using battery power.

If you choose the DC-only version, you can also consider using it with a solar system (to be purchased separately).

Designed to be easy to install, the Sensor Hub can be deployed and configured in minutes. It is suitable for both pole and wall mounting.

SenseCAP's Sensor Hub 4G Data Logger can work with any sensor compatible with MODBUS-RTU RS485 protocols. A wide range of industrial RS485 sensors is also provided for you to choose from.
