Ground Shafts

Among the various mechanical components in the catalog we also find ground steel bars.

Ground round bars are made by cold working, during which the surface layer of a round section bar is removed through the grinding process. A ground shaft is used when the tolerances and surface finish required are very high. Grinding, in fact, guarantees a controlled and homogeneous roughness.
