3D printer nozzles made of metal, with one or more holes, designed to increase the standard circular surface area of heating walls.
Enhancements apply only to 1.75 / 2.85 mm rigid materials and 2.85 mm flexible filaments.
To achieve significant increases in volumetric flow, the use of nozzles with a minimum diameter of 0.6 mm is recommended.
Main advantages of Bondtech CHT
- Increased melting capacity due to increased heating wall surface area
- Affordable price
- Ultra-high precision machining
- Brass nozzle with nickel-plated surface
- Compliance with nozzle standards:
- RepRap (M6×1×7.5×12.5)
- MK8 (M6×1×5×13)
- Volcano (M6×1×14.5×21)
- Can be used with hotend 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm
Advantages of Bondtech CHT technology
The Bondtech CHT nozzles divide the filament into 3 thinner filaments, allowing the material to melt from the inside. As a result, melting occurs faster and higher flow rates can be used.
Advantages of nickel coating
A nickel coating is applied to coated brass nozzles to protect them from corrosion, erosion, and abrasion. Nickel-plated nozzles offer greater corrosion resistance and a lower coefficient of friction, providing smoother material feed and retarding plastic adhesion to the nozzle surface.
Nozzle sets for different materials
Different nozzle sets are recommended because:
Using different materials with the same nozzle causes buildup inside.
These deposits can cause clogging.
We recommend replacing the nozzle every time you change materials.
NOTICE: Avoid cold replacement of nozzles Bondtech CHT RepRap M6 (MOS)
Heat the heating block to 280 °C (or at least above 250 °C) before removing or tightening any Bondtech CHT nozzle.
Use a maximum torque of 1.5 Nm.
