Advantages of Nickel Coating
A nickel coating is applied to coated brass nozzles to provide protection against corrosion, erosion, and abrasion.
As a result of this coating:
- the nozzles have greater resistance to corrosion,
- a reduced coefficient of friction, which allows for smoother material feed,
- adhesion of plastic to the nozzle surface is reduced.
Use this nozzle with the following materials:
PLA, ABS, HIPS, PC, TPU, TPE, Nylon, PETG, ASA, PP, PVA
For technical or abrasive materials, we recommend using other nozzles from the range Bondtech.
Different sets of nozzles for different materials
Multiple sets of nozzles are recommended because:
Using different materials with the same nozzle causes buildup of internal deposits.
Such deposits can cause clogging.
It is recommended to change nozzles when changing materials.
