BIGTREETECH EBB36 CAN BUS is a 3D printer board for use in the extruder assembly to be connected to a 36mm stepper motor. The special feature of this board is that it can communicate via both USB and CAN, which greatly simplifies wiring.
Key features:
With BOOT and RESET buttons, users can update the firmware via DFU mode via USB.
The added protection circuit on the thermistor prevents burning out the main control chip caused by current leakage.
Users can select thermistor pull-up resistor values via a jumper cable to support PT1000 (2.2K pull-up resistors).
Connect the USB with a jumper to power it, which effectively isolates the main DC-DC control board from USB 5V.
The reserved I2C interface enables detection of problems with the filament, such as broken wire and clogged nozzle.
The addition of anti-flyback diodes on the heater port and fan ports effectively protects the MOS tube from burning due to reverse voltage.
Anti-reverse connection protection on the power interface prevents users from burning the motherboard when mistakenly connecting the reverse power line during DIY.
The built-in MAX31865 supports 2-wire or 4-wire selection of PT100/PT1000.
It supports communication via CAN or USB. The 120R terminal resistor of CAN is selectable via jumper cap, and reserves CAN expansion interfaces.
ESD protection chip on the USB port prevents the main control board from being damaged by static electricity from the USB port.
This EBB36 board that serves as an adapter is equipped with terminals and screws.
