BIGTREETECH's Manta M8P V2.0 is a powerful 32-bit motherboard with many features. In fact, it offers many upgrade options thanks to many interfaces. The motherboard is compatible with open source Klipper, Raspberry and Marlin software.
When used in combination with BTT CB1, Manta M8P V2.0 is ideal for 3D printers Voron 2.4, Voron Trident and VzBoT.
In fact, the Manta M8P V2.0 board has the same connector as Raspberry Pi and can therefore be connected to all versions of Raspberry Pi CM4 and CB1. The easy mounting of the add-on board to Manta M8P can be reinforced by screws. The screws needed to do this are not included in the motherboard supply
Key features:
Equipped with a 32-bit ARM® Cortex-M0+ STM32H723ZET6 chip with a frequency of 550MHz, providing higher processing speed.
Designed with the same connector as Raspberry Pi, ensuring a reliable connection with all versions of CM4 and CB1, with the option of a screw-reinforced installation.
Versatile expansion with numerous ports to support additional modules such as BL Touch, LCD screen, RGB lights, auto power off, etc.
TPS5450-5A power supply chip offers 5A output, fully compatible with the power requirements of Raspberry Pi.
Selectable voltage for CNC fans: 5V/12V/24V.
Added eFuse protection circuit: quickly disconnects in the event of an overload and automatically resets when the overload is resolved, greatly reducing the risk of damage to the motherboard caused by short circuits or overheating.
Reserved Can Bus port, which can be connected with EBB CAN to simplify wiring and improve interference resistance.
New ID design, with added I2C, 5V servo, expanded IO and TFT interfaces. Use of a 12V power solution and optimized 5V power circuit.
The M8P V2.0 and CB1 are an ideal choice for printers such as Voron 2.4, VzBot, etc.
More details of the BTT Manta M8P V2.0 board:
The TPS5450-5A power supply chip supports a DC 12/24V input and provides up to 5A/6A peak to power a Raspberry Pi.
The thermistor circuit is protected to prevent damage to the MCU in case of a short circuit in the heated bed and heating cartridge connections.
PWM fans support 24/12/5V voltage selection without the need for an external transformer module, reducing points of failure.
The thermistor circuit allows pull-up resistor value selection via a jumper to support PT1000 without an external module, making DIY use more convenient.
The MCU firmware can be updated via an SD card or by using the "make flash" command in Klipper to update the firmware via DFU.
The BTB connector allows the use of core cards such as CM4, CB1 or others.
The built-in driver TMC works in SPI and UART modes, and the DIAG function pin can be used simply by connecting a jumper.
Connectors available for filament sensor, auto power off, BLTouch, RGB, I2C, servo, 5V power detection, etc.
High-performance MOSFETs to reduce heating.
Replaceable fuses for easy maintenance.
3 4-pin fan connectors usable for liquid cooling.
Proximity switch connector supports NPN and PNP (24/12/5V).
SPI expansion for accelerometer-based resonance compensation.
