The S500 5-in-1 weather sensor measures air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction (ultrasonic). It is ideal for applications in harsh environments such as outdoors, agriculture or smart cities.

Today, localized weather data-known as microclimates-represents the new frontier for more precise and accurate weather forecasts. As a result, weather data collection is becoming more and more widespread and detailed. In this context, weather stations, which are the most practical means of collecting environmental data, are experiencing increasing demand.
The SenseCAP ONE S500 5-in-1 Compact Weather Sensor enables the collection and monitoring of environmental and weather data, which is critical in various application areas such as smart city projects (Smart City) and many others. The SenseCAP ONE S500 is equipped with sensors capable of measuring five main parameters: air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and wind direction.
The SenseCAP ONE S500 is IP66 certified and offers high durability to operate in even the harshest outdoor environments. The sensors that measure wind speed and direction use ultrasonic technology, instead of traditional mechanical cup or vane anemometers. The use of ultrasonic sensors reduces moving parts, making the device less prone to breakage, easier to maintain, and equally accurate.
The SenseCAP ONE series uses RS485 (MODBUS-RTU) / RS232 / RS422 (Modbus) / SDI-12 communication protocols. This allows the compact SenseCAP ONE weather sensor to be used with any datalogger compatible with these protocols.
In addition, there is the SenseCAP Sensor Hub 4G datalogger (compatible with solar power or via DC outlet) that can be used in conjunction with SenseCAP ONE series weather sensors. The collected data can be transmitted to the Sensor Hub and then to the SenseCAP server or a private server.
If you choose to use the SenseCAP server, an API is also provided to easily create custom applications.Application
