BIGTREETECH U2C is a module that brings USB to CAN bus. It can convert the USB port of Raspberry Pi to CAN bus and connect to the motherboard of a 3D printer, or to BTT EBB36/42 CAN modules and other products via CAN bus. There are several forms of CAN interfaces on the board, which are useful for connecting to different boards.
The CAN bus connection has many advantages. For example, it has a long transmission distance and allows a large number of nodes to be mounted. Therefore, the motherboard, EBB and other expansion boards can be mounted simultaneously on the same CAN bus.
Main features:
CAN bus connection support
long data transmission
silent
strong real-time performance
high reliability
The PCB surface adopts the ENIG process. The TYPE-C port is equipped with ESD protection to prevent static electricity from damaging the hardware. In addition, firmware upgrades for the motherboard can be made via SWD or hardware DFU.
