It is ideal for monitoring the health of plants and perfect to use for automatic watering systems. The sensor is able to detect moisture through the probe to be inserted into the soil. The board outputs a voltage proportional to the humidity. The processing module allows you to adjust the trip threshold on the digital output pin. At the output there is also an analog signal proportional to the amount of drops or water present. It can be interfaced directly with Arduino or other microcontrollers and can be powered by either 3.3V or 5V.
It can be used as a soil moisture sensor for automatic irrigation systems, monitoring the correct amount of water in pots and plants, flood sensor, "overflow" sensor for tanks and cisterns, etc..
Power supply: 3.3 - 5 V
Sensor dimensions: 60x20 mm (45 mm each electrode)
PCB dimensions: 30x15 mm
