What are configurable mechanical components?

Configurable components are products in which you can select specific design features, and see the price and delivery times at a glance.

The most used configurators include linear shafts, linear guides, miniature linear guides, aluminum extrusions and aluminum sheets. Select your specifications from material, surface treatment, length and diameter.

Tailor-made processing

Our “DHM projects” tool allows you to save different projects or lists of articles on our website and sort them when it suits you. You can easily add them to your cart by clicking the "Add Project to Cart" button, or you can quickly edit them by removing and adding products from any device by logging into your account.

You can also share projects in various ways. You can submit a read-only copy and the person you shared the project with can order directly on our website. For more details, go to your projects and click the “Share Project” link.

Alternatively, you can export the project to PDF or CSV so that you can always consult, even offline, the detailed list of products of your project.

Description
Package contains: 1 x IR Sensor TE174
The module detects an object at a distance between 2 and 30 cm, with a detection angle of 35 °, the distance can be adjusted using the trimmer, turning clockwise the distance increases; turning counterclockwise the detection distance decreases. The module uses a pair of infrared diodes (one emitting and one receiving) that work by reflection, so the shape and reflectivity of the target are important.Also the color affects the operation, the detection distance will be minimum in case the object is black, and maximum in case it is white. The output connector of the sensor module has the port named OUT that can be connected directly to the I/O port of a microcontroller, The output is able to directly drive a 5 V relay; Connection: VCC-VCC; GND-GND; OUT-IO. Signal stability is ensured using an LM393 comparator. The sensor module can be powered with a voltage between 3-5 V DC, the presence of voltage is indicated by its red LED. For fixing there is a hole for easy fixed installation, maximum screw diameter is 3 mm.
