- DescriptionAre you interested in even larger prints and faster print speeds than the Volcano? Upgrade your V6, Titan Aero, Titan Aqua or Hemera with HotEnd SuperVolcano. Made of plated copper alloy, high temperature printing can be enabled using a PT100 or thermocouple, and a plated copper or hardened steel nozzle.
Faster
The SuperVolcano boasts up to 11 times the volumetric flow rate of the V6.
High Temperature
The SuperVolcano can reach 285°C with the included thermistor, by replacing your thermistor with a PT100 or thermocouple you will be able to exceed 400°C. Print anything from PLA to PEEK.
Full Range of Nozzles
From extensive testing, we've found that using a 1.0mm nozzle offers the best balance of speed and detail.
But you have the option to choose from 0.6 mm to 1.2 mm.
Greater interlayer and adhesion to the printing plate
Print wider and thicker layers: this provides a greater area of adhesion to each other and to the plate, resulting in stronger prints with reduced deformation.
Compatible with the E3D ecosystem
The SuperVolcano upgrade kit is fully compatible with the E3D HotEnd range. You can easily connect it to your V6, Titan Aero, Titan Aqua, Chimera + or Hemera.
Room for a second thermistor
