The new heating block design has a larger fusing area to meet the requirements of high-speed and high-temperature printing.
Compared with theheatbreak stainless steel of the hotend Rapido , the hotend Rapido 2 have a heatbreak with strong and lightweight titanium tube. This robust material has lower thermal conductivity and cooling requirements, as well as excellent thermal insulation. This ensures better extrusion control and superior print quality.
The 90-watt ceramic heater of Rapido Hotend 2 has a planar structure characterized by high reliability and higher heating power. To give you an idea: the heating element reaches 200°C in just 35 seconds!
Rapido Hotend 2 uses a removable 104NT thermistor that is easy to repair and replace.
The unique structural design allows rapido switching between High-Flow and Ultra-High-Flow print heads. Different nozzle types meet the requirements of high-temperature and fiber filament printing.
The included adapter allows you to quickly switch between hot-end to meet any requirement. With a few simple steps you can set the optimal flow rate.
Titanium alloy screws, which provide a firm connection between the heating block and the heat sink, feature low thermal conductivity. This rigid design allows easy one-handed nozzle changing.
Caution. Although Rapido Hotend and Rapido Hotend 2 have the same dimensions, the heating element and heat sink are different. Therefore, these cannot be interchanged.
Details
The hot-end Phaetus Rapido 2 24 V are the perfect choice for high temperature and fiber filament printing.
They are compatible with countless materials and are designed for temperatures up to a maximum of 290°C.
There are two variants of thehot-end Rapido 2:
Rapido Hotend 2 HF (High Flow): The HF version is compatible with V6 nozzles.
Rapido Hotend 2 UHF (Ultra High Flow): The UHF version is also compatible with V6 nozzles. For quick nozzle replacement, the V6 copper plated adapter that is included in the package is required.
Caution. Remember that getting quality prints is not just a matter of changing thehotend. Many factors must be evaluated to solve any printing problems, including printer structure, mechanical drive components, parameters slicing, filament quality, nozzle quality...
