Chaoticlab presents the solid Voron Tap, a durable version made by precision machining on a multi-axis CNC milling center.
This component consists of an Al6061 TG aluminum structure, characterized by superior resistance to wear and high temperatures.
This allows for a lighter component than the molded model. In fact, the weight is only 59.8g and the dimensions are 45 mm*13 mm*68 mm.
In addition, the head moves entirely to activate an optical sensor.
The Voron Tap is equipped with an Omron D2FP-FN optical sensor, known for its high sensitivity, accuracy, and long life (more than 70 million uses).
Installation of the Voron Tap requires only a few simple steps. The component is delivered with the housing already assembled, so there is no need to disassemble it, as this could cause unwanted damage.
