V6 All-metal HotEnd - E3D
The V6 is the flagship among E3D's HotEnds, featuring an all-metal design and high-temperature performance. The V6 is an incredibly versatile HotEnd that allows you to use a wide range of filaments. Whether you want to experiment with more advanced materials or print with different resolutions and sizes, the V6 is suitable for every application.
High-Temperature Performance
The advantage of an all-metal design allows the V6 to comfortably reach 285°C with the included thermistor. If you wish to print at higher temperatures, up to 500°C, you can simply swap the thermistor for a PT100 or thermocouple, in the latter case additional electronics may be required. This allows you to print standard materials such as PLA, PETG and ABS, as well as high-temperature materials such as polycarbonate, nylon and PEEK.
Easy to use
The V6 features a cartridge-heated block, which allows for a simple approach to replacing both heater cartridges and temperature sensors. Replacement thermistors, PT100s and thermocouples can be slid into place and secured with a grub screw, ensuring that maintenance is quick and easy.
Precise
All-metal conduit keeps thermal break strong to provide better control over filament output; improve startup and shutdown during extrusion, as well as more effective retraction and less oozing. All-metal duct features a refined internal surface finish to reduce extrusion force and improve retraction reliability.
