This sensor has the ability to detect temperatures with 9-bit to 12-bit accuracy over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C to the nearest +/-0.5°C.
Each DS18B20 sensor has a unique 64-bit serial number that identifies it stored within an internal ROM. This feature allows a large number of sensors to be used on a single project. This sensor can be powered directly from the data line and the supported power supply range is 3.0V to 5.5V. This sensor is equipped with alarm search commands that identify and address sensors that measure temperatures outside of programmed limits (Temperature Alarm Condition).

Measurable temperature range: -55°C to +125°C (-67°F to 257°F)
Accuracy: ±0.5°C (in the range -10°C to 85°C)

Temperature conversion time to 12-bit word: 750ms
Each sensor has a unique 64-bit address stored in an internal ROM
