StoneFil is a 3D printing filament with 50% stone powder. This high stone content gives the filament amazing aesthetic characteristics. StoneFil is easy to print and the objects produced have an extremely matt, stone-like finish. Due to the high stone powder content, the density is higher than that of standard PLA. StoneFil is based on the modified EasyFil PLA compound and is easy to print.

There are many different types of printers, hot-end and offset, so it is extremely difficult to provide a universal setting that applies to all.
Abrasive
StoneFil, due to its high content of stone powder, can have a slightly more abrasive effect on brass nozzles than unfilled filaments.

Nozzle Cleaning
When printing with filled or composite filaments, it is recommended to clean the nozzle immediately after printing by passing 15-20 cm of PLA filament through it. This helps to remove any residual filler. It is even more effective to use PLA Glow in the Dark, as the extremely hard phosphorous particles can better scrape off residue inside the nozzle.
