PLA-H(igh)P(erformance).
If you are looking for excellent high temperature resistance (134°C HDT) combined with the ease of printing typical of PLA, we present PLA-HP filament. You no longer need to go through the annealing process-it reaches the desired thermal resistance immediately after printing.
What does this mean for you? For example, you can wash your printed items in the dishwasher or leave printed parts in the car on a hot summer day. In general, with PLA-HP, printed parts will remain functional even at high temperatures.
Pro
- excellent heat resistance - 134°C HDT
- easy to print, similar to PLA
- high tensile strength - 3766 MPa
Cons
- higher heat resistance of material can cause more deformation (warping)
- slightly lower impact resistance than standard PLA
