- DescriptionPackage Contains: 1 x THERMAX HTS HIGH-TEMP SUPPORT - Natural / 1.75mm / 500g - 3DXTech
The high temperature support filament is ideal for use in dual extruder 3D printers designed to print high temperature materials.
HTS is the premium support for high temperature products, unlike most support filaments, which are not designed to withstand the heat needed to print the best high performance materials.
It works ideally with the following ThermaX? materials:
? PEKK [polyetheretherketoneketone]
? PEEK [Polyetheretherketone]
? PEI made with ULTEM?
? PPSU [Polyphenyl Sulfone]
? PSU [Polysulfone]
? PPS [Polyphenyl Sulfide]
Media Removal:
This is a detachable media and will not dissolve.
It is best to remove the high temperature backing while the printed part is still hot.
If the finished printed part cools completely and removing the backing becomes too difficult, you can heat the part in the printer chamber or in an oven no higher than the Tg of the model material you are printing with.
Filament specifications:
Diameter: 1.75 mm (+/- 0.05 mm)
Recommended print settings:
Extruder: 350-380°C
Platen temperature: 120-160°C
Platen preparation: We recommend using an adhesive or poly tape
Heated chamber: All high temperature materials print best with a heated envelope or build environment. The temperature of the enclosure should not exceed 185°C so that the high temperature substrate material remains structurally sound as a substrate.
Other: Do not use a cooling fan when printing this substrate.
Drying instructions: 120°C for 4 hours
