Firewire® FR-ABS is manufactured using high quality UL94 V-0 rated ABS.
Fire retardant ABS is ideal for applications that require UL94 V-0 flame retardant characteristics.
Advantages of Firewire Flame Retardant ABS:
Durable and rugged parts with highly flame retardant and self-extinguishing properties
Easier to mold than most industrial-grade materials
Made from UL94 V-0 rated base resin
Flame rating (UL94):
1.5mm: V-0
2.0mm: V-0, 5VB
2.5mm: V-0, 5VB
3.0mm: V-0, 5VB
Filament specifications:
Diameter: 1.75mm (+/- 0.05mm)
Recommended print settings:
Extruder: 220-240°C
Platen temperature: 100-110°C
Platen preparation: recommended?Use an adhesive or poly tape
Heated chamber: A heated chamber is recommended as it helps reduce warpage and improves layer adhesion
Media: Water soluble AquaTek X1 USM is ideal for complex parts.
Drying instructions: 80°C for 4 hours.
Safety Note:
Direct ventilation is required to print Firewire Fireproof ABS. This filament has a much more pronounced odor during printing and it is highly recommended to use in a well-ventilated area or with HEPA and activated charcoal filtration systems. - Read moreFor more information please contact us.

L'ASA è il materiale consigliato per l'uso esterno. A differenza dell'ABS, l'ASA è altamente resistente ai raggi UV, non ingiallisce e mantiene le sue proprietà meccaniche anche sotto l'esposizione diretta del sole e degli agenti atmosferici.
Il PETG è un materiale molto viscoso. Per ridurre lo stringing, è fondamentale calibrare correttamente la temperatura di stampa e la distanza di ritrazione. Inoltre, assicurati che il filamento sia asciutto, poiché l'umidità assorbita peggiora drasticamente questo fenomeno.
In generale è sconsigliato, poiché ogni resina ha tempi di esposizione e composizioni chimiche differenti. Mescolarle potrebbe portare a fallimenti di stampa o a una polimerizzazione incompleta del pezzo.
La resina liquida è considerata un rifiuto speciale. Non deve mai essere gettata negli scarichi domestici. È necessario polimerizzare i residui liquidi (esponendoli al sole o a lampade UV) fino a renderli solidi, dopodiché possono essere smaltiti seguendo le normative locali sui rifiuti plastici speciali.
