The heart of the P2S: PMSM extruder and DynaSense
The new PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) servo extruder is the real leap forward for the P2S. With a maximum extrusion force of 8.5 kg, 70% more than the previous model, it guarantees exceptional extrusion stability even at high flow rates. The system samples resistance and position at 20 kHz, detecting grinding and filament clogging in real time.
The DynaSense system uses a high-resolution eddy current sensor to calibrate the flow dynamics, ensuring precise and uniform extrusion without the need for manual adjustments. Thehotend is made entirely of hardened steel, designed for prolonged printing of fibre-reinforced materials.
Adaptive Airflow System: intelligent cooling and heating
Unlike conventional systems that recirculate hot air, the P2S draws cold air directly from outside the chamber, significantly improving cooling efficiency. This allows low-temperature filaments such as PLA to be printed with the door closed, without the risk of clogging or material degradation.
For technical materials such as ABS, PA-CF and PC, the system uses controlled fins that seal the heat inside the chamber (up to 50 °C), while a high-performance activated carbon filter keeps the air clean and safe in the working environment.
Artificial intelligence and monitoring
The P2S introduces a computer vision system based on artificial intelligence that detects common printing problems in real time: stringing, blobbing, extruder clogging and incompatibility between the print bed and slicer settings. The system automatically intervenes to prevent defects, reducing waste and increasing reliability.
Enhanced LED lighting, combined with a high-frequency Full HD camera and dual-band Wi-Fi, enables smooth remote monitoring and professional-quality timelapses.
Interface and connectivity
The new 5-inch touch display with enhanced processor offers a smoother second-generation user interface with rich animations and detailed step-by-step instructions. The P2S is controllable via USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and integrates seamlessly with Bambu Studio for complete workflow management.
Hotend and nozzle: change rapido in 30 seconds
The design of the quick-changehotend with clip mechanism allows the entire nozzle and heatsink assembly to be detached without disconnecting cables. The P2S comes with a 0.4 mm stainless steel nozzle, but is compatible with 0.2, 0.6 and 0.8 mm nozzles to suit any printing requirement.
Material compatibility
With its closed chamber,hotend full-metal (up to 300 °C) and heated plate (up to 110 °C), the P2S supports a wide range of filaments: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PA, PC and fibre-filled composites. For multi-material and multi-colour printing, the AMS 2 Pro (available in Combo version) offers advanced storage, drying and automatic filament management capabilities.
