PIR Sensor HC-SR501 - Arduino Infrared IR - Motion Surveillance

Infrared motion sensor, measures the infrared rays emitted in its field of view and is therefore a sensor capable of determining if something or someone is moving in a certain area. It exploits the pyroelectric effect: any body that is at a temperature higher than absolute zero emits infrared radiation.
In front of the sensor there is a lens (Fresnel lens) that breaks down the environment into beams to create the necessary zones to perceive the temperature difference generated by a hot body passing through them. It can be used for security, surveillance and home automation applications. The module provides a digital high signal when motion is detected within a 7 meter radius. There are two trimmers to adjust sensitivity and delay.
On the module there is a potentiometer through which you can set the time of permanence of the state HIGH. There is also a trimmer to adjust the sensitivity.
