- Description
Kratos PC represents the next generation of polycarbonate filaments. It uses the same low-warp technology as the TitanX and ApolloX filaments, guaranteeing low shrinkage, better adhesion to the print bed and between layers. In short, Kratos PC is one of the easiest polycarbonate filaments to 3D print. The improved flow also allows printing at high speeds.
Kratos PC is a true engineering filament, combining excellent mechanical and thermal properties. It is ideal for printing durable components with high impact resistance, enabling detailed parts with high dimensional accuracy. Printed parts are heat resistant up to 150°C.Key features
- High impact and tensile strength
- Excellent resistance to dynamic loads
- Vicat softening temperature: 150°C
- HDT B: 139°C
- Compatible with high-speed printing up to 200 mm/s
Applications
- Automotive components
- Functional prototyping
- End-use parts
- Small-scale production
- Electronic components
General printing guidelines *
Nozzle size: ≥ 0.4 mm Height layer: ≥ 0.1 mm Closed chamber: recommended Print temperature: ± 290 - 320°C Heated plate: ± 100 - 130°C Fan: 0 - 25% * The above settings are guidelines for finding optimal parameters. They may vary depending on the printer,hot-end and specific conditions.
Pre-drying
Kratos PC is a hygroscopic material, so it is necessary to dry the filament at 75°C for approximately 24 hours before use. For best results we recommend printing from a dry box, avoiding moisture absorption.
Adhesion to the substrate
For best adhesion, we recommend using a specific adhesive for polycarbonate and printing with brim, which is useful to reduce warping and improve the stability of the part.
Closed chamber
Not necessary for small parts. Recommended for large parts to improve quality and reduce deformation.
Storage
Store in a dry, dark place with humidity < 15%
Recommended temperature: 18-25°C
Keep away from humidity, sunlight and heat sources.
Shelf life: up to 24 months if stored correctly.
For best results, we recommend drying the material before use and printing directly from a dry box.Package contains: 1 x Kratos PC Clear 1.75mm - Formfutura

- Questions(FAQs)
