- To increase printing gloss, it is recommended to reduce the printing speed of the outer walls. Compared with generic PLA Silk, Bambu Lab PLA Silk+ ensures greater adhesion between layers.
- Although PLA Silk+ is thoroughly dried and vacuum-sealed before shipment, transportation conditions may affect its moisture level. We strongly recommend drying it immediately after opening and storing it in a container sealed with desiccant or AMS. Repeat drying and moisture protection before each long-term storage period.
- Allow to dry before use to ensure best print quality and uniform finish. Drying conditions: 55°C for 8 hours in an air-jet oven and 65-75°C for 12 hours on the heated platen of an X1 printer. Store in a dry place after use.
- The concentric pattern on the surface can optimize the print quality of the outer layer (shell).
