Advantages of Bondtech CHT ® technology
The Bondtech CHT ® nozzles divide the filament into 3 thinner filaments, allowing the material to fuse from the inside. As a result, fusing occurs faster and higher flow rates can be used.
Benefits of nickel coating
Nickel coating protects brass nozzles from corrosion, erosion and abrasion, increasing corrosion resistance and reducing the coefficient of friction. This allows for smoother filament feeding and delays plastic adhesion to the nozzle surface.
Use this nozzle with the following rigid materials:
PLA, ABS, HIPS, PC, TPE, Nylon, PETG, ASA, PP, PVA
For technical or abrasive materials, we recommend using other nozzles from the range Bondtech.
Different sets of nozzles for different materials
Using different materials with the same nozzle causes buildup inside, which can cause clogging.
It is recommended to change nozzles each time you change materials.
NOTICE: Avoid cold replacement of nozzles Bondtech CHT BiMetal MK8
Heat the heating block to 280 °C (or at least above 250 °C) before removing or tightening any nozzles.
Use a maximum torque of 1.5 Nm.
